Meet The Artist

Growing up spending summers on the coast of Maine was the beginning of a lifelong connection to the ocean. Days were spent collecting the treasures left with the outgoing tide and marveling at how nature had transformed a twig or branch or root (or piece of glass) into something so aesthetically pleasing as to be considered art. I could never live away from the sea for very long…the smell of the fresh salty air, the seaweed covered rocks, rosa rugosa in bloom, juniper, among sandy beaches and rocky cliffs. Sailing and kayaking has afforded me the opportunity to explore where nature-sculpted driftwood catches in small inlets, coves and riverbanks.
